This trip has not helped my plans to get back to a regular routine. To keep some motivation, I made a goal for 2 swims and running 5 miles for my 6 day, five night trip: Saturday through Thursday. I didn’t quite make it – but I did work out.
Sunday – ran 1.45 miles
Monday – went for a short but beautiful swim in the open salt water (maybe 500 yards?)
Wednesday – another short swim followed by a wonderful massage and session in the wet hydrotherapy area.
We had a long day on a very terrible tour – I wanted to hit the gym afterward, but was destined for a few moments in the sun and a John Grisham book.
Anyone have any ideas for keeping on track with workouts on vacation??? Especially for a girl who often lacks the motivation???
