What is it?
It is that inner strength that I was looking for.
Amazingly, one short conversation changed it all. It began while chatting with a few friends at work, well actually trying to convince them to run a 5k with me. One of my friends asked how fast I was running a 5k; which ranges about 30-35 minutes. He was
surprised shocked that I wasn’t faster. He knew I did several runs – some long runs. He had assumed that I was much faster than him.
I decided that I WANTED TO BE. I want to be faster. I want to think of myself as a runner. I want to be a runner.
And with that short conversation – my motivation for a good run was back…
