What is it?
It is that inner strength that I was looking for.
Amazingly, one short conversation changed it all. It began while chatting with a few friends at work, well actually trying to convince them to run a 5k with me. One of my friends asked how fast I was running a 5k; which ranges about 30-35 minutes. He was surprised shocked that I wasn’t faster. He knew I did several runs – some long runs. He had assumed that I was much faster than him.
I decided that I WANTED TO BE. I want to be faster. I want to think of myself as a runner. I want to be a runner.
And with that short conversation – my motivation for a good run was back…
Good luck on working with improving your speed!! Interval training is a great way to get started.
Happy Holidays and Happy Running in the New Year!

Awesome! Get it! It’s nice to be able to see that motivation and continue to use it. I’ve fallen out of the running habit and am working to get back to it…keep it up!
Rebecca!! I know sometimes it is so hard. Sometimes, you just need a little push.
